Media Requests and Publicity Guidelines

Press/Media Inquiries

Members of the media are invited to contact the College to arrange interviews with employees and students. Typically, the College President, Vice President for Institutional Advancement or Communications Officer will serve as an official spokesperson for the College.

The Communications Officer serves as the initial contact point for all press inquiries. The Communications Officer will work with media members to provide information and arrange interviews with employees and students.

College Name

While our official name is, and will remain, Orange County Community College, our preference is to be referred to as SUNY Orange.


SUNY Orange Style Guide

The SUNY Orange Style Guide is available for media members and College partners so that you may effectively adhere to the College's logo usage and branding expectations.


College Colors

Orange County Community College school colors are identified using the Pantone Matching System (PMS). Our PMS colors are Orange 1665 and Blue 294. Contact the Communications Office for additional information using the College's official colors in printed publications and digital content.


College Logo & Seal

If you need traditional or vector artwork of the College seal or any of SUNY Orange's family of logos, please contact the Communications Office at (845) 341-4727.

In all cases the logo and seal are to be used as demonstrated in the College's style guide. Additions or modifications to the seal or the logo are not permitted.
