What People are saying about SUNY Orange

SUNY Orange was like a family. The professors really cared about you. It was probably the best two years of my life, educationally.

I believe that SUNY Orange is the number one asset that Orange County has to offer to students who wish to further their education. As an alumnus, I believe in this institution and what it stands for. I was an educator for 30 years: I believe that education is what our society is built on. SUNY Orange has, and always will have, our 100% support.

I am an international student, and English is my second language, so I was nervous about college. Now I am very glad I chose SUNY Orange, because they have such excellent English programs and teachers. Sometimes it was hard, but there were always people and places I could go to for help. The staff and faculty were always very helpful, even outside of class. I appreciate all the people who helped me. I would never have been able to do what I have done if I did not come to SUNY Orange.

SUNY Orange has been an eye-opening experience for me. I have learned a lot about myself and made lifelong friends by getting involved with student activities. The faculty and staff are readily available when I need help in class or making decisions about my future. SUNY Orange provides the cornerstone for my growth and offers many opportunities for easy transition into a Baccalaureate Degree program.

I graduated from high school in 2002 with no idea of where to go next. I knew that I wanted to continue going to school but was unsure of what direction I was headed. The first time I sat down with a SUNY Orange Admissions counselor, I knew it was a place that really cared about the students. My final decision to attend SUNY Orange in the fall was definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Now, I am currently a student at SUNY Albany, and I can honestly say that my education at SUNY Orange has given me the edge I need to succeed in pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Thanks, SUNY Orange!

SUNY Orange provided and educational opportunity for me to explore various fields and find one that would become my career. I was so impressed that I wanted to return, to give other students the same opportunity.

My two years at SUNY Orange were among the best of my life both for sheer fun and for hardcore academic fundamentals that made me a strong student when I continued my education at New Paltz.
