Alumni Scholarships

  • Rosalind Marray Nursing Scholarship - one scholarship for a nursing student with dependent children, financial need and a C+ and above average.(funds permitting) Not available 2007-2008 academic year
  • Luella Delavan Alumni Scholarships - Thirty-nine scholarships to Orange County students graduating from high school who are entering SUNY Orange.

  • Four scholarships for four full-time returning SUNY Orange students who demonstrate the highest academic achievement as well as financial need.

  • Raymond Raimondi Alumni Scholarships - One $1000 scholarship to a male returning student in the English department and one $1000 scholarship to a female returning student in the English department.

  • Chris Chachis Alumni Memorial Scholarships - One $1000 scholarship for a male returning student and one $1000 scholarship for a female returning student who have demonstrated outstanding promise in the physical education and/or related fields during their freshman year.

  • George F. Shepard Outstanding Citizenship Alumni Scholarships - One $1000 scholarship for a male returning student and one $1000 scholarship for a female returning student who have demonstrated outstanding citizenship during their freshman year.

  • Jack Goldstein Alumni Memorial Scholarships - One $1000 scholarship for a male returning student and one $1000 scholarship for a female returning student who intend to become teachers.

  • Mary B. Diana Alumni Physical Education Scholarship - One scholarship for a transferring female physical education student or an outstanding female athlete. (funds permitting) Not available 2007-2008 academic year

  • Russell King Alumni Scholarships - Three scholarships. $1000 each for three returning students, resident of Orange County, majoring in business or accounting, based on financial need.

  • Barbara Breen Duff Alumni Memorial Nursing Scholarship - One $500 scholarship for a nursing student based on financial need and academic achievement. (funds permitting) Not available 2007-2008 academic year
  • Richard J. Curtis Criminal Justice Scholarship - One $1000.00 scholarship for a returning sophmore criminal justice student. Academic based only. (funds permitting)
  • Ada DeGeus Alumni Nursing Scholarship - One $1000 scholarship for a male nursing returning student and one $1000 scholarship for a female nursing returning student who demonstrates competence (academic and clinical). Must maintain "B" average and is need based. Recommended by a department faculty member.

The Alumni Association is an independent organization whose purpose is to work actively and effectively to advance the mutual interests of the college, the alumni, and the community.
