Cap and Gown and Tickets

Cap and Gown

All graduates are entitled to a cap and gown at no charge. The cap and gown is yours to keep as you have paid your graduation fee of $55 which includes the cap and gown and your tickets and announcements.

Go to: to order your cap and gown.

When you place your online order be sure to type in the full name of the college (Orange County Community College). No payment is required. Graduates who order by the deadline will be sure to receive the proper size. If you do not order by the deadline you will still be able to receive a cap and gown but there will be no guarantee you will be able to choose your exact size. Caps and gowns will be distributed after the mandatory Commencement Information Session.

Graduation Tickets and Announcements

All graduates are entitled to 4 tickets and 4 announcements at no charge. If the ceremony is held indoors due to inclement weather, the capacity of the Physical Education Building will not allow for more than four guests per graduate. No extra tickets will be issued nor can they be purchased.

Tickets are only collected if the ceremony is held indoors. However, if the ceremony is outdoors, please be mindful of the number of guests you invite since seating is limited.

Both the indoor and outdoor venues are accessible to the handicapped. Security is available with six passenger golf carts to transport guests who may have difficulty walking onto the Alumni Green. Accessible parking is available on Tennis Court Drive behind the Physical Education Building and the Morrison lot.

Guests without tickets who need accessible parking can park in Parking lot #6 located behind the George Shepard Student Center. They can then enter the 1st floor of the Student Center and watch a live stream of the Commencement Ceremony. There will also be a live stream of the Ceremony in Orange Hall Theater.
