2017-2018 and/or 2018-2019 Financial Aid Workshops

The Financial Aid Office has workshops to assist students and their parents or guardians with completing the 2017-2018 and/or 2018-2019 Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The workshop will also provide information about the financial aid process, program opportunities for financial aid and deadlines for the both academic years.

NOTE ~ 2017-2018 FAFSA is for attendance Fall 2017 semester, Spring 2018 semester and Summer 2018.

And the 2018-2019 FAFSA is for attendance Fall 2018 semester, Spring 2019 semester and Summer 2019.

Requirements to Attend:

  • **You and /or your parents must have filed 2015 Federal Taxes for the 2017-2018 FAFSA or 2016 Federal Taxes for the 2018-2019 FAFSA at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to attending a workshop. TAXES MUST HAVE BEEN FILED ELECTRONICALLY.

  • When you are completing the 2018-2019 FAFSA you will now be retrieving your 2016 Taxes from the "IRS Data Retrieval Tool" that is linked to the FAFSA.
  • For dependent students under 24 years of age, the student and a parent must be present to complete the FAFSA Process!

Items to Bring with you:

Students and/or parents should bring the following items, if applicable:

  • Copy of 2015 taxes and W-2 forms, proof of all 2015 untaxed income (social security, social services, child support, etc.) for the completion of the 2017-2018 FAFSA.
  • Copy of 2016 taxes and W-2 forms, proof of all 2016 untaxed income (social security, social services, child support, etc.) for the completion of the 2018-2019 FAFSA.
  • List of all student/spouse/parent assets including checking, savings, cash, stocks, bonds, securities, trust funds, money markets, business value, other real estate, etc.
  • Student’s driver’s license, social security card and alien registration card

2017-2018 and/or 2018-2019 WORKSHOP SCHEDULES:

Workshops for Middletown and Newburgh will start Promptly at TIMES NOTED BELOW.
