Student Support Services
The Non-Traditional Careers Program provides assistance for students exploring and pursuing careers in non-traditional and academic programs of study. This program offers students a foundation of career choices that is based on personal abilities and interest, not on gender stereotypes.
The Student Support Services Program is a federally funded program designed to provide academic and personal support for first generation, low income and/or disabled students. It offers a supportive climate that will help eligible students succeed in the classroom with degree attainment and beyond.
Any questions regarding either of the above programs should be directed to JoAnne Penzato, NEC Counselor. She is located in Room 129 at the Newburgh Extension Center and can be reached at (845) 341-4443.
