Tutorial Services
The Newburgh Extension Center Tutorial Center is located in Room 123 on the first floor. The tutoring center is one of the best resources and most economical services the Extension Center has to offer. For a fee of only $30 per semester, students may receive up to five hours a week of one-on-one help with their college courses.
Tutors can reinforce what you have learned in class and answer your questions in a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable asking questions. If you can´t do a math problem, the tutor can explain how. If you are having problems with English or writing courses, a tutor will work with you on your skills. Tutoring is available on request for most subject areas and courses being taught at the Newburgh Extension Center.
Feel free to stop by any time to pick up an application (to become a tutor or to be tutored) and ask questions.
