Prospective Students and Their Families Invited to SUNY Orange’s Middletown Campus for Annual Event

PHOTO: Student walking on campusMIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – SUNY Orange will showcase its academic programs, support services and campus activities for prospective students and their parents when it hosts its annual Fall Admissions Open House from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 18 in Orange Hall on the College’s Middletown campus.

During the open house, the College will provide information on its academic programs and student support services. High school students, adults looking to return to the classroom and any other interested prospective students are encouraged to attend in order to gather information about the College’s 40 academic majors, as well as transfer and career possibilities students enjoy following graduation from SUNY Orange. Financial aid, scholarship guidelines and admissions information will be provided as well.

The College boasts one of the finest student transfer success rates in the State University of New York system and provides diverse educational opportunities to help students meet their goals. SUNY Orange is also a member of the Hudson Valley Educational Consortium, which allows the College to bring emergency responder and innovative technology programs from other community colleges in the region to the campuses of SUNY Orange.

Students at SUNY Orange also enjoy many extra-curricular endeavors, and College representatives will have information regarding many of the programs, clubs and organizations available for students. SUNY Orange also operates a challenging academic Honors Program for highly motivated and talented students.

Tours of the Middletown campus will be provided.
