Sponsorship

Many of Orange County's best and brightest high school graduates leave the County to study at private as well as public four year degree granting institutions and never return. Conversely, more than 75% of all SUNY Orange graduates eventually return to the Orange County area and become valuable contributors to our local economy.

In an effort to entice some of the best and brightest high school students to choose SUNY Orange for their first two years of college education, the SUNY Orange Foundation established the President’s Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the President's Honors Program Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Sponsors of the President's Scholarships not only help defray the tuition costs of an outstanding student for an entire semester, but (based upon our alumni data) will most likely ensure that this student becomes a valuable contributor to our future local economy.
