The SUNY Orange Symphonic Band Concert is on Saturday April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Paramount Theater in Middletown.
The band will perform Liberty Fanfare - John Williams, Ride - Samuel Hazo, American Salute - Morton Gould, Chorale and Shaker Dance - John Zdechlik, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine - John Philip Sousa, As All the Heavens Were A Bell - Jay Bocook, Parade of the Charioteers from the movie “Ben Hur” by Mikolos Rozsa,
Music from the Incredibles - Michael Giacchino, and Seventy-Six Trombones from the musical “Music Man” by Meredith Wilson. The concert will also feature Owen Moore on baritone saxophone playing Saxophobia by Rudy Wiedoeft.
The SUNY Orange Symphonic Band, under the direction of Joe Martellaro, is comprised of students, teachers and members of the community. The Paramount Theatre, located at 17 South St. in Middletown, and is universally accessible. Admission is $10. Active duty military, students under 12 years of age, and SUNY Orange students are admitted for free.
