Graduating studentWelcome to the #SOMyStory Photo Contest!

Between now and Friday, May 31 we want YOU to tell us your story after graduation:

  • Transferring? Take a photo with your new college gear or acceptance letter!
  • Got a job lined up? Take a photo with your new uniform, or outside your new work!
  • Looking for the next opportunity? Take a photo in your robes and tell us your major!

Post your photos and tag with #SOMyStory and tell us YOUR STORY

 

HOW TO ENTER:

Between NOW and end of day Friday May 31, all photos posted to Instagram or Twitter by graduating SUNY Orange students with the tag #SOMyStory will be accepted.

You can also email your photos to: photos@sunyorange.edu

December 2018 graduates and August 2019 graduates are also accepted.

As we start to receive photos, all entries will be posted to a gallery on the College's Facebook page. The photo with the most Facebook LIKES on Monday, June 3 at 10am will be the winner!

A $100 Amazon eGift Card! Good luck!

 

BORING RULE STUFF:

Photographs must be posted publicly to Instagram or Twitter with the tag #SOMyStory, photographs may also be submitted by emailing them to photos@sunyorange.edu. A graduating student of a SUNY Orange must in the photograph. SUNY Orange reserves the right to not consider any photograph or description/comment deemed objectionable.

The person who posts the photo must have the legal right to use the photo. All photos received will be posted on the College's Facebook page.  Prizes will be presented to the owner of Instagram or Twitter account that posted the photograph that receives the most "Likes" on the College's Facebook page by Monday, June 3 at 10am. If the owner of the photograph cannot be reached within one week, the College will select another winner.

PLEASE NOTE: When you enter your photograph into the competition by tagging it with #SOMyStory on Instagram or Twitter, or emailing to photos@sunyorange.edu, you are giving Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use your photograph and/or the attached description or comment for existing and future publications, promotions and publicity. This promotion is being endorsed by SUNY Orange and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
