SUNY / Orange 115 South St. Middletown, NY 10940 Orange Hall Theater Technical Information Packet rev:1/2005 Peter Galipeau I Stage Specifications A) Stage Measurements 1) Proscenium width: 41� wall to wall 2) Proscenium height: 14� to plaster, 11� to main valence 3) Stage depth: 20��, curtain line to CYC; 8��, CYC to back wall B) Playing Space 1) Minimum width: 23� with roto draper legs on Minimum depth: 10�, curtain line to mid-stage traveler, add 8�9� for apron at center stage 2) Maximum width: 35� with roto drapes off Maximum depth: 20�, curtain line to CYC, add 8�9� for apron at center stage C) Left Wing 1) Downstage 5�6� Upstage 8�6�; wall angles out 2) Upstage there is a double door leading to the �Green room�. D) Right Wing 1) The depth is 8� 2) Downstage there is an opening, 16� w* 7�6�h, which leads to the shop. 3) There is an overhanging balcony that runs the length of the wing. E) Crossover A breeze curtain is located midway (4�) between the CYC and the rear wall. F) Batten Locations: See appendix A 1) Battens are dead hung at 16� off the deck; the theater has no flying capabilities. G) Draperies 1) There is a full mid-stage traveler at 10� from the curtain line. 2) Two sets of legs hang on roto draper pipes. 3) A full set of teasers are hung corresponding to the legs, travelers, and CYC. II Lighting The house rep plot consists of six main areas each with a warm (R05) and a cool (R68) wash. The house plot may not be altered. Specials may be added to meet incoming group needs. A) Circuits 1) There are 135 circuits ( see rep plot for location). All circuits and cables are rated for 20 amps, and use 3 pin stage connectors. 2) A 100 amp three phase power supply road box is located stage right. B) Follow spots Two 1K follow spots are hung and operated from the ceiling above the control booth. They are powered by dimmers 1&2 set to non-dim. C) Lighting Inventory: See appendix B Please note that not all inventoried equipment is routinely available. III Lighting Control A) Stage The stage is controlled by an ETC express 72/144. It can run either a one or two scene mode. There are 24 sub masters, 999 available recording cues, and 500 groups. B) House lights 1) House lights are controlled from ETC preset boxes located in the control booth, down stage right, upstage left, and from the board channels 1 - 3. IV Sound A) Control: Peavey 1600 - 16 channels, 4 sub-masters, PFC. B) Sound Augmentation: Eventide Eclipse 3000 D.S.P. C) Playback 1. Sony CDP-CA7es carousel CD 2. Phillips CDR-775 CD recorder 3. JVC TRD-441 stereo cassette deck D) Amplification 1. House mix: QSC PLX2402 - 1400 W per channel 2. Monitor mix: Crown PS-400 - 200W per channel wired in stereo. E) Speakers 1) House: two peavey 115 International III; 8 Ohm 15� 3-way, wall mounted SL and SR. 2) Monitors a) Two Peavey 112HS BW enclosed monitors, 65 W @ 8 Ohms b) Two EV Force monitors, 150W 28 Ohms F) Microphones: See appendix C Please note that not all inventoried equipment is routinely available. V Projection A) A retractable projection screen 12�W * 10� H is located 2�6� upstage of the curtain line. B) The projection booth is located 50� from the screen. VI Load in/Out A) The stage can be accessed two ways: 1) Through the front of the house, door size is 32� W by 7�1� H. It is approximately 75� to the stage, and includes an acute, narrow turn. 2) Through the scene shop, door size is 6�10� W by 7�1� H. There are 10 steps to climb and it is approximately 75� to the stage. VII Dressing Rooms A) There is a seven station dressing room located upstage, offstage right on the second floor. B) There is a fifteen station dressing room located upstage, offstage left. This room also serves as a classroom and is only available when no class or college activity is booked.
