Green Screen Preparation Guide What does it do? . The Green Screen process makes a selected range of color become transparent to reveal an image underneath. . Allows subject to be placed in front of any background. . Before coming in to use the Green Screen, think about what images you would like to use. Example Before After Backgrounds . Any Image or video can be used as a background. . A library of backgrounds to use is available to look through, but feel free to provide your own. . Make sure your material is not copyrighted. * Background images should be at least 1280x720 pixels in size. Background Examples Titles . Titles can be added to your video to supplement what you are saying. . Think about what your main points will be and which of them you may want to appear on screen. Script Writing . Writing a script of what you plan to say on camera allows you to stay on point. . Try to write as though you are having a conversation to avoid sounding stiff. . If possible, send scripts in a plain text format (.txt) . The script can be loaded onto a teleprompter for you to read from. Final Notes .
