A little caffeine and library resources can inspire creativity. The library invites you to have some coffee (on the house) and explore resources that can inspire you and your class. Join us as we explore the digital image library ARTStor. First and foremost ARTStor is an image database of works of art from the world over and all time periods. Dont think that only art types will benefit from ARTStor. The images available include historic photographs, portraits of important figures, and paintings of scenes and events. We will see how to search through the database and find the image that you need and discuss how this tool can enhance the classroom experience. At the very least youll enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) with your colleagues. Bring your own mug if you have one. Friday October 16 at 3:00 Room 102 in the library.
