WELCOME WILLIAM WORFORD, THE NEW TECHNICAL SERVICES LIBRARIAN William Worford is the new Technical Services Librarian and will be joining the library for the start of the Fall Semester. William was previously at the Gorgas Library and Library Annex of the University of Alabama Libraries. William s responsibilities here at SUNY Orange will be to oversee the book catalog, adding new and removing old volumes from the catalog. In addition William will serve the students, faculty, and staff at the reference desk and in the library instruction classroom. William has a background in history, specifically in the Tokugawa Period of Japanese History (1600 to 1863). In his library career he has taught library introduction in the classroom and presented sessions on the open source bibliographic management tool Zoterro.
