Is turnitin.com for your class? Turnitin.com (turn it in) is an internet utility that scans research papers for sections of text copied from electronic sources such as web pages, research papers, journal literature and others. Turnitin then displays the source of unoriginal text. You can access turnitin.com through SUNY Oranges account and have full access to all features. What is it? How does it work? Is it more or less work for me? The library will be hosting an information session that will allow you to test, examine, play and see for your self how Turnitin.com functions. Three sessions will be held in Room 102 on the first floor of the library on these days: Morning: Thursday October 23 at 10am Afternoon: Tuesday October 21 at 3pm Evening: Wednesday October 22 at 7pm Please reserve your spot by contacting Andrew Heiz at: Extension 4253 or email: andrew.heiz@sunyorange.edu If these times are not convenient for you and you want to try it out please contact Andrew to arrange a demonstration.
