 Re:          External Review Team HONORARIUM for SUNY Assessment of Programs
 This memo is to inform Department Chairs that an Honorarium will be awarded to the
 external review team in the amount of $250.00 per reviewer (maximum of two (2) reviewers).
 The process by which payments are to be made to reviewers is described below.
 As a requirement of the SUNY assessment of programs, programs are to organize a campus
 visit by an external review team. During this visit, external review team members will review
 the program and prepare a report outlining the program�s strengths, weaknesses, and
 recommendations for improvement. There is agreement that the time and effort of the
 review team members must be recognized and compensated for in a consistent and fair
 manner. The Vice President of Academic Affairs, Catherine Chew has determined that an
 honorarium of $250.00 be awarded to each member of the review team.
 At this time, the honorarium will be paid from the Assessment Coordinator�s budget. To
 receive checks for payment, a voucher from the Business Office must be completed, signed
 by the requisitioner, and forwarded to Christine Work to sign for approval. The voucher
 asks for information on who to make check(s) payable.
