Transfer Articulation Agreement
between 
Orange County Community College
ACCOUNTING - A.A.S.
and
The College of Westchester
ACCOUNTING - B.B.A. 

This articulation agreement creates a guarantee transfer program between the Orange County Community College Accounting (A.S.) and The College of Westchester's Bachelor of Business Administration -Accounting (BBA). 

Students interested in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree will be considered competitive transfer applicants if their interests are appropriate and they meet the GPA, course, and profile requirement.
 
Students at Orange County Community College will be guaranteed transfer with full junior status with the acceptance of up to 66 degree credits and the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an additional 54 -57 credits earned, depending on the courses taken at Orange County Community College, in order to meet the required 120 credits.

The following conditions will apply: 
1. A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average is earned and the student is making satisfactory progress in their final    semester courses prior to transfer and has studied full time; 

2. The student will fulfill the following two BBA competencies within the first year of the 
   BBA program:
	BUS 214 Principles of Finance-as aBBA elective
	OFT Excel-as BBA elective (or test-out of Excel)

3. If a student has not earned a grade of C or higher in any of the BBA competencies, the 
   student must complete the requisite competencies in the BBA program. These include:
   	English Composition I and II
   	Financial Accounting I and II
   	Intermediate Accounting 
   	Federal Taxation
   	Cost Accounting I
   	Principles of Marketing
   	Oral Communications
   	Macroeconomics
   	Business Statistics 
   	Computer Applications
   	Business Law

This agreement becomes effective July 1, 2013, and can be modified or discontinued by mutual consent as deemed necessary by either institution.
