Dear SUNY Orange Community,

On Friday, September 13 from 3:00 to 6:00pm in the Harriman Student Gallery on the Middletown campus, we will be holding a reception to launch a new exhibition, Remembering Randi, honoring the dedication, passion, and twenty-seven years of selfless devotion of former professor and colleague, the late Randi Eisman. Additionally, a digital representation of Randi’s own art will be presented in Harriman 111 as a reminder of the gifts that she brought to each aspect of her work as an instructor and creator. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to share stories and memories of Randi and to reflect on her many contributions to SUNY Orange and the community at large.

The exhibition will run from September 9 to October 5, and many of the artworks displayed will be offered for sale. All proceeds from the exhibition will go directly to The Randi Eisman Supply Fund for SUNY Orange Studio Students. This fund will serve students in the coming academic year who face economic hardship and who would otherwise be unable to afford increasingly-expensive art supplies.

We look forward to having this occasion to pay tribute to our beloved Randi, and we hope to see many of you in attendance.
