September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month!!

The Wellness Center and The New York Blood Center are hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kaplan Hall Great Room.

If you are age 17 to 75, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and are in good health, please consider donating. 

Approximately every 3 minutes someone in the US is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Thousands of patients with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma rely on lifesaving blood transfusions during their treatment. Blood donors like you help meet these daily transfusion needs.
