The Center for Teaching and Learning will offer Blackboard Allyon Thursday, November 14th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on the Newburgh Campus in Kaplan Hall 231.

 Ally is an accessibility tool that integrates with the learning management system to assist faculty and students with common accessibility issues within course materials. Once turned on within the course shell, Ally generates various accessible formats for the instructional content, including Semantic HTML, audio, ePub and electronic Braille, and offers guidance for improving accessibility of the original materials. 

This session will provide an overview of the features of Ally, demonstrate how to activate it within a course, identify additional helpful resources, and discuss communication methods for utilization with students.
