Submissions: American Voices through Art and Poetry
Wednesday, 12 August, 2020
Cultural Affairs at SUNY Orange is calling for submissions of Visual Art and Poetry. Titled American Voices through Art and Poetry, the exhibit may include works in the following media: paintings, drawings, photographs, collages, mixed media, digital graphics, fiber/fabric, sculptures, and poetry.
The invitation offers the opportunity to artists and poets to express their thoughts and feelings about current times through the transformative aspect of visual art and poetry. Artworks and poems will be included in an ongoing summer 2020 online exhibit. This is purely an exhibition, and no awards will be given. This invitation is open to all residents of Orange, Sullivan, Ulster Counties and all students, faculty, and staff of SUNY Orange.
Only one original work from each submitter is allowed. Every work must be titled and each artwork or poem must be attributed to the artist or poet with full name. A request for a prospective and/or questions should be emailed to email@example.com with American Voices in the subject line. Submission Deadline has been extended to August 12.
Cultural Affairs reserves the right to refuse works.
