Artist Judith Hummer explained watercolor paints and the brushes that are best to use. And then, she put this in perspective to painting on Yupo paper, a non-absorbent, slippery, high gloss, synthetic, recyclable material. She shared the various techniques she uses including creating textures and making different effects with ordinary household items. The results are fascinating.
Gather your brushes, paints and Yupo paper, and several household items for the class. The list of suggested materials is available by emailing cultural@sunyorange.edu
Have fun trying it out! You may get hooked as Judith Hummer did.
