It's the Year of the Rabbit! Celebrate Chinese New Year and pick up your Stuff an Animal Kit under the tent on the Alumni Green.  Each kit contains a different animal along with the meaning/information about the animal and what it symbolizes.  There are 5 animals to choose from. What does Chinese New Year symbolize?  The day symbolizes as well a new start in one's life, refreshing hopes for prosperity, wealth and happiness. Agricultural calendar new year, based on farmers' experiences (Traditional Chinese: 农历新年). Historically the calendar was sponsored by the Emperor.  Kits are available on a first come first served basis and are for currently enrolled SUNY Orange credit students who pay an activity fee. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
