COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Orange County and surrounding areas:

• 2114 active cases were reported as of 12/28/22 compared to 1164 active cases as of 11/30/22 (per the Orange County Department of Health's latest stats)

The best way to protect yourself is getting vaccinated AND staying up-to-date on your vaccine boosters:

• New Yorkers 5 years and older are eligible for the updated bivalent COVID-19 boosters at least two months after their previous booster or primary vaccine series.
• A bivalent COVID-19 booster will help eligible New Yorkers maximize their protection, prolong the vaccine’s durability, and safeguard our communities against the virus.
• Booster doses are free and available statewide.
• Questions? Talk to your healthcare provider, your child’s healthcare provider, or vaccine administrator.

The Wellness Center is hosting a Booster clinic in Middletown on February 1 between 10 am and 1 pm with the Orange County Health Department. We are located in the Shepard Student Center, Room 237. Appointments are available and the vaccines are absolutely free.

Both Moderna and Pfizer shots will be available. Initial vaccines can also be given. First time vaccinations will get a $25 Amazon gift card while supplies last!

If you are getting a booster, please bring your Vaccine Card.
