What's New in Alzheimer's Disease?

Alzheimer’s Disease is a concern for many in our community:
- An estimated 6.4 million Americans are currently living with this illness, with more than 410,000 of them residing in New York State*
- In 2020, approximately 586,000 family caregivers in New York provided a total of 774,000,000 hours of unpaid care to loved ones*
- This unpaid care is valued at $14,620,000,000*
Please join us for an important Research Update on Alzheimer’s Disease with Meg E. Boyce, LMSW, Vice President of Programs and Services, Alzheimer’s Association, Hudson Valley Chapter, on Wednesday, February 15th from 11:00 am �" 11:45 am in the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering, Gerry Forum (room 010), 10 East Conkling Avenue, Middletown campus. (Snow date: February 16th.)
Ms. Boyce will discuss the latest in research for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias followed by a Q&A session. Representatives from our local chapter will also be present to field questions and offer informational resources.
This is a must attend educational event for Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers and others concerned about these neurological diseases.
