See below a little about Mya:
Hi, my name is Mya Zylberberg, and I currently attend the University at Albany. Before transferring to Albany to complete my post-secondary education, I attended SUNY Orange. My journey through my education was more unconventional as I was a PTECH student. I began my education at SUNY Orange in 10th grade as I began taking high school and college courses simultaneously. This was made possible through a partnership between my local high school, SUNY Orange, and IBM. I graduated from high school with my high school diploma and A.A.S in Cybersecurity.
Outside of my academics, I partake in many extracurricular activities. On campus, I am the Treasurer of the NAACP Albany Chapter and a member of the Digital Forensics Association. I am also a Digital Forensics Ambassador and give tours to schools and explain what it's like to major in Digital Forensics. Outside of campus, I am a Junior Coordinator for SHRED Foundation. SHRED Foundations teaches youth aged 10-18 from underprivileged backgrounds how to snowboard. We take the youth to either Windham Mountain or Stratton Mountain throughout the ski season.
