Mark your calendars and plan to come to Kaplan Hall at SUNY Orange for the 7pm screening on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the OBTC Great Room 101. Come early for festive music played for your enjoyment by Pianist Geoff Hamburg (5:50-7pm).

Discover your inner film critic by casting your vote for Best Film and Best Actor in the 26^th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. Ballots supplied upon entry. At the conclusion of the screening, the audience participates in voting.

All the venues worldwide count their votes and submit the results to Manhattan Short Film Festival headquarters. Additionally, results of the SUNY Orange moviegoers’ voting as well as the worldwide voting are released via a Cultural Affairs e-blast on October 9.

Ten film finalists have made the cut and are on the card in this year's event. Manhattan Short originator Nick Mason states, “This year’s program is the best balanced show we have ever put together.” The MSFF offers families and friends, 15 years old and over, viewing of innovative, creative, and some funny films. The films become Oscar-Qualified, thereby making them automatically eligible for Academy Award nomination.

Students are admitted free at the door.
