SUNY Orange will host its 34th annual Sojourner Truth Awards Program on Friday, March 8 at 6:00 pm.  It will be held in the Physical Education Building at our Middletown Campus.

The event is held to award 6-12 grade students from Orange County school districts in the areas of English Language Arts, Science and Technology, Diversity, Citizenship, Perseverance/Effort, Athletics, Creative Arts, and Foreign Languages.  Our goal is to continue to encourage college attendance as a viable option by awarding these students who might not otherwise be recognized.

The Honorable Theresa Cayton, newly appointed judge for the Middletown City Court will be the keynote speaker.  Students will receive certificates and medals for their achievements.
