To close Black History Month and move into Women’s History Month, Shades of Ethnic Hair & Skin Care is being offered as a collaborative event by Cultural Affairs and the Committee for Diversity and Equity (CIDE). The presentation which includes a

history of ethnic hair, what makes it unique, and how to practice healthy hair and scalp habits as well as follow a healthy skin routine, will be given by Amethyst Ladson, owner of SOA Beauty in Poughkeepsie.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

PowerPoint and demonstration will enhance this evening program scheduled in-person on Thursday, February 29 from 6 to 8:30pm, at the Fireplace Lounge in the Shepard Student Center, SUNY Orange. This program is offered free and open to the public. Parking is free in the college lots # 6 and 7 in back of the Shepard Student Center off East Conkling Avenue and lot # 5 at the corner of Bennett and South Streets, Middletown.
