More about this event:
A recent study conducted by global food service provider Sodexo showed that 81% of college students choose a plant-based meal when it’s the default option. (Vegconomist, May 2023)
What is a plant-based diet?
A plant-based diet consists primarily of fruits, vegetables whole grains, legumes, beans and nuts, seeds and oils. Eating this way does not mean you are a vegetarian or a vegan. You may still opt to eat meat and dairy products, but they are no longer the foundation of your diet. Many health, economic, and environmental benefits are found.
