A concert will be held in the Orange Hall Gallery on Tuesday, May 6th at 7pm featuring the SUNY Mixed Chorus and the SUNY Symphonic Band.  

 

Under the direction of Jennifer Budryk the concert will begin with small instrumental ensembles which include: Flute Choir, Bass Clef Trio. Brass Wind Trio and a Double Reed Trio. 

 

The Choir directed by: Kim Carver will be singing songs from a variety of genres which include a jazz arrangement, a pop acapella arrangement, several folk songs, a traditional Hebrew  song accompanied by Joel Flowers and violinist: David Peterson. The choir portion will also include a foot stompin' tune and conclude with our closing selection: The Lord Bless You and Keep You by John Rutter.

 

Jenn will round out the concert with music performed by the entire Symphonic Band. Selections include the Chorale from Jupiter by Holst, In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg as well as several songs arranged by Arcari. 

 

This is a free concert and all are welcome to join us for an evening of beautiful music.
