Manhattan Short Film Festival will be screened on Saturday, September 27, 2025 starting at 7pm. The venue is the Orange Bank and Trust Company Great Room 101 in Kaplan Hall at SUNY Orange. Admission is $5. Students 15 and older enter free. Doors open at 6:15pm. Free, secure parking is available in Kaplan Hall parking garage entered at 73 First St, Newburgh. Be an active participant by voting for Best Film and Best Actor in this worldwide event -- the 28th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. At the conclusion of the screening, you will have the opportunity to vote.
All the venues worldwide count their ballots and submit the results to Manhattan Short Film Festival headquarters. Additionally, results of the SUNY Orange moviegoers’ voting as well as the worldwide voting are released via a Cultural Affairs e-blast after the film festival ends - October 5.
The MSFF offers families and friends, 15 years old and over, viewing of innovative, creative, and thought-provoking films. The films become Oscar-Qualified, thereby making them automatically eligible for Academy Award nomination.

Passarinho (Mexico)
