5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Birds are fascinating creatures.
So much so that Dr. Walter Jahn is offering another semester of lectures on birds entitled Local Birds and Their Travels. The series starts on August 25 and continues almost every Monday, finishing on December 8. Two exceptions are Labor Day - no lecture that week, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day - 10/13. The lecture moves to Tuesday, 10/14. The timeframe of the series is 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The lectures take place in the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering, room 128. The lectures are also available live simultaneously via Zoom link: https://sunyorange.zoom.us/j/99172119712
For those who miss a lecture or want to view it again, the lectures are recorded and are easily accessible. This whole series of events is free and open to the public.
The Rowley Center for Science and Engineering (RCSE) is located at GPS: 10 East Conkling Avenue, Middletown. Free parking is available at parking lot #1 (GPS: 24 Grandview Ave) next to Orange Hall or the parking garage # 3 (5 East Conkling Ave) across from RCSE or on-street.
Walter Jahn received his B.S. from Penn State University. He holds an M.S. from Widener University. In addition, he joined the Peace Corps and served as a teacher-trainer for two years in Paraguay.
