Enhancing Watercolor with Pastel - a master class by Linda Barboni
Wednesday, 17 September, 2025
5:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Have you ever wondered how seemingly opposite types of painting materials complement each other to produce a vibrant artwork with luminous effects?
Come to the art master class presented by watercolorist/pastelist Linda Barboni entitled Enhancing Watercolor with Pastel.
During her demonstration, Linda Barboni will explain the qualities of each medium and show the steps taken in creating with this duo-media. Then, she’ll turn her attention to helping attendees handle the two media in creating new works to bring home. Throughout the class, she will give tips on technique while emphasizing shapes and color values of lightness and darkness.
This hands-on master class is free and open to the public and takes place in Orange Hall Gallery where the artist has three works on display in the Visuals ~ Favorites, a large, 172 works, all-media exhibit.
Plan on coming and taking advantage of this opportunity of learning on Wednesday, September 17 from 5:15 to 7:15pm.
All materials will be provided, but if you prefer, bring your own.
