Navigating Windows 10

Do you wish to know more of the ins and outs of navigating around the windows interface or
may want to reinforce your current understanding of windows? Join us for a hands-on session as
we discuss things such as installing and completely uninstalling applications, file management,
and creating backups in the event that a storage drive might fail. Please feel free to bring
questions of your own about any of the various things that can be done on the Windows OS.
Installing and Uninstalling Applications:
- Looking for windows specific installations of programs.
- Creating shortcuts for programs.
- Showing how to get to the programs and features in the control panel so you would be able to uninstall a program.
File Management:
- Organizing files so they can found at a later time.
- Creating and using folders.
- Understanding basic extensions at the end of files to know what program will be used to open the file.
Backups:
- Showing options in terms of physical backups that can be performed.
- Showing options in terms of cloud backups that are currently available online.
