Speaker(s):
Roberta (Robin) Sullivan, University at Buffalo, is an Emerging Technologies Librarian and Instructional Designer with the University at Buffalo Libraries, State University of New York. Sullivan will also soon take on the role of Head of Media Services for the UB Libraries. She is the Director of the SUNY Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success (#EmTechMOOC). She has been recognized through a SUNY Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2) Excellence in Instructional Support award for her work on the Tools of Engagement Project (TOEP). She is a recipient of three Open SUNY Effective Practice Awards and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.

Cherie van Putten, Binghamton University, is an instructional designer at Binghamton University. Cherie promotes teaching excellence through various events, course development consultations for online, blended, and face-to-face classes, course observations, and customized training programs for instructors at all levels. She also serves as assistant director for the Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success MOOC.
