PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – Counselors from SUNY Orange’s Admissions Office will be hosting an Admissions Open House from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 22 at the College’s Sarfatti Education Center at 150 Pike Street in Port Jervis.

The evening program will include three concurrent one-hour workshops on admissions, continuing education and financial aid from 6 to 7 p.m., and again from 7 to 8 p.m. Also from 7 to 8 p.m., admissions counselors will hold an onsite decision program. Prospective students are encouraged to bring their academic transcripts in order to apply for admission and receive an instant decision.

SUNY Orange offers 40 degree and certificate programs at its Middletown campus, and provides access to general education credit courses and continuing education classes at the Sarfatti Center. The College’s summer sessions begin on May 27 or July 10, while the Fall semester opens on Aug. 26.

The Sarfatti Center opened last summer and is presently used by the College during weekday evenings to offer both credit and non-credit programming, as well as High School Equivalency (formerly GED) classes.
