College to Host Second of Two-Part LGBTQ+ Series on Nov. 13
November 6, 2019MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – SUNY Orange will be hosting the second in a two-part LGBTQ+ Cultural Competence series, featuring Rae Leiner, executive director of the LGBTQ+ Newburgh Center, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering at the College’s Middletown campus. The discussion will also be streamed to Room 210 of Kaplan Hall on the SUNY Orange Newburgh campus.

SUNY Orange will be hosting the second in a two-part LGBTQ+ Cultural Competence series, featuring Rae Leiner, executive director of the LGBTQ+ Newburgh Center, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Rowley Center for Science and Engineering at the College’s Middletown campus. The upcoming session will investigate the difference between "gender" and "sexuality." For those who missed the first session on Oct. 29, a recap of that discussion will serve as an introduction to the Nov. 13 event. Attendees are asked to bring a notebook, something to write with and be prepared to learn and use mindfulness practices.
