SUNY Orange to Host Men's Health Fair June 10
May 28, 2025MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — To mark Men’s Health Month in June, the SUNY Orange Wellness Center will host a Men’s Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 10 in the Gilman Center, located in the library on the College’s Middletown campus.
The event is open to all members of the campus community and the general public. Local agencies will provide information and resources on a variety of health topics affecting men, including: alcohol use and abuse, brain and heart health, cancer concerns, food insecurity, health insurance options, healthy eating, quitting vaping and smoking, LGBTQ+ issues, mental health, opioids and Narcan training, parenting, problem gambling, physical fitness, reproductive health, sexual assault prevention, sexual health and safe sex, substance abuse, and veterans’ services.
Participating vendors include Access Supports for Living, the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County, Affinity by Molina Healthcare, the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, Cornerstone Family Health Care, Fearless!, Gift of Life Registry, Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, Independent Living, Mental Health Association in Orange County, Middletown Police Service Coordinator from the Middletown Cares Coalition, Mid-Hudson Region Problem Gambling Resource Center, Middletown YMCA, New York State Office of Mental Health, New York State Police, Orange County Department of Health, Orange County Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy Program, Planned Parenthood, Salvation Army, VA Hudson Valley HealthCare System, and the SUNY Orange Wellness Center.
