Surveillance Testing

Can I test if I've been exposed to someone with COVID?

Yes, although, it is not recommended for you to participate in the pooled testing when you have knowingly been exposed on or off campus. Please be sure to select "yes" for the exposure question when you register for your test. Your sample will be reflex tested individually by the lab.

I recently had COVID. Should I participate in surveillance testing?

You should not participate in surveillance testing for 90 days following a positive result. Additionally, if you are feeling sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and consult with your medical provider.

I need proof of a negative COVID test for my job. Can surveillance test results be used for this purpose?

This test can be used to determine your COVID status. But, it may take several days to get your results depending on lab processing volume.
