Map to Parking Garage

Parking is available to students, faculty and staff in the Kaplan Hall underground parking garage on 1st Street. There are also designated parking spots on Broadway.

Visitors may use the underground parking but should stop to speak to security at the entrance.

Directions

From Middletown

Take Interstate 84 East, Exit 10, stay to right of ramp, turn right onto Route 9W South and immediately get into left lane. At stoplight (Sunoco Gas Station on left), turn left onto North Plank Road. Continue straight (becomes Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard as road curves parallel to Hudson River). At third stoplight, turn right onto Colden Street. Turn right onto Second Street. At first stop sign, turn left onto Montgomery Street. Proceed to end of Montgomery Street and turn right onto First Street and entrance to Kaplan Hall parking garage will be immediately on your left.

From Route 17

Take Exit 121E (Interstate 84). Follow directions above (as if coming from Middletown).

From Upstate New York or New York City/New Jersey area

Take New York State Thruway to Exit 17. After toll booths, bear right, follow signs for Interstate 84 East. Follow directions above (as if coming from Middletown).

FROM DUTCHESS COUNTY, CONNECTICUT AND NEW ENGLAND

Take Interstate 84 West, cross Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, take Exit 10S, bear right at end of ramp, follow to next traffic light, turn right onto Route 9W South, proceed to second traffic light (Sunoco Gas Station on left), turn left onto North Plank Road. Follow directions above (as if coming from Middletown) from this point.
