Search for books in the Middletown and Newburgh campus libraries. Where you see "Available" under Due Date means the book is on the library shelf.
Search for electronic books from Ebsco. Access 130,000 titles on line any time of day.
Is this journal in the library? Type the name of a magazine, journal or newspaper you wish to find and search for it electronically.

Look for a SUNY Orange LibGuide to help with your subject.
Type the words you want to find in your articles. Find all articles about penguins.
Get fewer and more specific articles by typing keywords with AND For example find articles about how climate change affects penguins penguins AND "climate change".
Don't search by asking a question! Just enter the keywords, put topics with two or more words in quotes to find that exact phrase.
Campus Library Hour
Campus libraries open at 8am weekdays for the Spring Semester.
The campus libraries will be closed for Spring recess starting Monday March 20 through Saturday March 25. The libraries will be open Monday March 27.
Starting Friday February 24th the library will close at 5:00 p.m on Fridays.

Reserve a study room in the Middletown Library
Two group and two individual study rooms are now available for SUNY Orange student use in Middletown campus library. Ask at the front desk to reserve and use using your SUNY Orange ID.
In Newburgh the two student study rooms are available for students on a walk in basis. Ask at the front desk if you have any questions.
Articles from the Chronicle of Higher Education
The Middletown library recieves the print version of the Chronicle of Higher Education each week. Can't make it to the library read articles online through the library's databases (there is a 1 month delay in access to articles).
National Library of Medicine Resources
Click on to the library's research guide for health information tools from the National Library of Medicine to learn about getting reliable health information. The tools are free and are very useful for health profession students entering the workforce.
NCLEX Exam preparation
Through the library's subscription to Board Vitals nursing students can take NCLEX preparation exams on line 24/7. Sign up at the Board Vitals web site for your account with your sunyorange.edu email. Ask a librarian if you need help.
New York Times 1851 to 2010
You can read every edition of the New York Times since its start to 2010 through the library's subscription to New York Times Historical. Search for topics and when you click the link you will see a PDF view of the actual article. Zoom out to see the full page and browse.
