SUNY Orange Summer Research Experience

West Nile Virus Study

Seeking students to work with SUNY Orange Biology faculty on research project this summer and fall.

Learn about mosquito trapping and identification.

  • Paid on the job training
  • Employment is part time
  • Salary - $10.00 per hour


  • Available to work from June to October

Can work in the summer if not available for the fall.

Preference given to those students who can work the entire study.

  • Must have own car for transportation.
  • No prior experience needed.
  • Must like field and laboratory (microscope) work.

Conservation Corps Member Summer Internship

Rockland Conservation & Service Corps (RCSC) Members dedicate their summer to carrying out environmental service projects in the Rockland County region. We are looking for people who want to grow as civic leaders and gain work-related experience while making tangible environmental impacts on our community.

Start Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2020
End Date: Friday, August 14, 2020
Hours Per Week: 35-40
Days of Service: Monday through Friday and some weekends

The program begins full-time on or about May 26, 2020. Applications are due April 1, 2020.
