Campus Plantings Home
SUNY Orange is lavishly planted with many varieties of woody plants and flowers. This web site provides a comprehensive listing of the plantings that can be discovered at both the Middletown and Newburgh campuses.
A few of the plantings date back from the early 20th century, when the Middletown campus was the home of the Morrison family, who donated the mansion and surrounding land to Orange County so that the first county-sponsored community college in the New York could be formed in 1950.
