Eligibility
Am I eligible to be an ASAP Student?
Fall 2024
New, transfer, returning, and continuing students who meet the criteria below are eligible for the SUNY Orange ASAP Program:
- Be accepted as a SUNY Orange student (please review the Admissions page to apply).
- Be a New York State resident or qualify for in-state tuition.
- Applied for both federal (FAFSA) and state (TAP) financial aid or the Dream Act application and be in receipt of at least $1 of federal or state financial aid.
- Enroll in and maintain a full-time student status (12 or more credit hours) each semester (Fall/Spring).
- Enroll in one of the following ASAP-approved degree programs at SUNY Orange:
- Accounting (A.S.)
- Accounting (A.A.S.)
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Healthcare Administration
- Human Services
- Liberal Arts: Humanities & Social Sciences
- Criminal Justice (A.S.)
- Criminal Justice (Police, A.A.S.)
- Architectural Technology
- Computer Information Technology (CIT) Networking
- Computer Science
- Cyber Security
- Engineering Science
- Early Childhood Development and Care
- Jointly Registered Teacher Education Program
- Liberal Arts: Mathematics & Science
- Visual Communications: Graphic Arts and Printing
- New Media
- Web Development
- Have previously earned no more than 21 credits (excluding credits earned in high school) from another accredited college or university.
