About Coach Butenhoff
Amber Butenhoff enters her first season as head coach of the Colts. Amber served
as the program's assistant coach for the 2018-19 season. Coach Butenhoff was a standout
player for the Colts during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. She was named the Region 15
MVP both of her seasons at Orange, as well as being named the SUNY Orange female athlete
of the year in both 2012 and 1013. In 2013, Amber led the Colts to a Region 15 Championship
while batting .557, the 3rd best average in the nation. She went on to play at NYIT
where she led the Bears and the East Coast Conference with a batting average of .448
with 10 homeruns.
