SUNY Orange BRIDGES seeks to serve students with ID, DD, and ASD who are motivated to learn, desire employment in their community, achieve independent living and prepare themselves for a self-determining lifestyle. Students must be able to comply with the College’s Code of Conduct. A GED or IEP diploma is not required.
BRIDGES does not follow the standard SUNY Orange application process. Prospective students must complete and admission packet which includes an application, letters of recommendation, school and medical records including all psychological testing.
The admissions packet must be submitted directly to the BRIDGES Admissions Committee by JULY 1. In addition, students must take part in an on-campus interview accompanied by a family member or other member of their circle of support.
Prospective students are encouraged to call the College for more information and to discuss applying for enrollment.
