The Transitional Program at Newburgh:
Here, students experience an individualized, hands-on and experiential learning environment. With a focus on skill development, this program has a highly visual and applied design.
As part of the Newburgh Transitional program, BRIDGES students also have the option to avail themselves of courses through the SUNY Orange FoodTec program. This is a new, workforce development program based on the Newburgh campus, which offers students the ability to become certified in several different, industry-standard areas within food services and hospitality. Select FoodTec certificate courses are available to the BRIDGES students as well as neurotypical students who attend SUNY Orange.
