2020 Virtual Celebration
Welcome to the #SOClassof2020 Virtual Celebration of Graduates!
The Virtual Celebration of Graduates included messages to the graduates from Fred Watson, chair of the SUNY Orange Board of Trustees, and Dr. Kristine Young, College President, along with a scroll of the graduates' names, and a faculty, staff, and administration montage applauding the graduates!

The Virtual Celebration was streamed on the Orange County Community College - SUNY Orange Facebook page, and is now available to view below:
Social Media Wall, #SOClassof2020, and the KudoBoard
- Messages were posted to our Virtual Celebration Social Media Wall using #SOClassof2020 on Twitter or Instagram! You can view a video of the social media board below.
- The SUNY Orange Foundation invited alumni, supporters, & faculty also submited messages & images to an online "Kudoboard" for graduates to read. Following the Virtual Celebration of Graduates, they will collate these messages into a keepsake for our 2020 graduates!
Was this Virtual Celebration replacing the in-person Commencement?
No, the in-person Commenement has been delayed due to the pandamic. The College is still intending to hold an in-person Commencement at a later date.
